McCartney Minter, a junior at Tesoro High School, is running for ASB Vice President for the 2025-2026 school year. Her senior year will mark the fourth year that she maintains a position on ASB.
Minter’s competitors, Emaan Ghaffarian and Abby Shin, are also running for ASB Vice President for the succeeding school year. Aiming for this top spot in ASB, Minter feels that she maintains the character and skills to continue to improve Tesoro if elected. Minter expressed, “I am a very balanced individual and I’ve been a part of a variety of different organizations at Tesoro.” Minter is a leading competitor on Tesoro’s Song and Dance Team, an active contributor to the school newspaper and has been in ASB for the past three years.
If elected as Tesoro Vice President, Minter feels that she will bring forth a positive, lively outlook on leading the school committee while striving to bring new activities and innovative ideas. As she looks ahead into her senior year, she is excited for the potential that Tesoro holds in the future, in hopes to broaden and expand on her ideas as vice president. Minter stated, “I want to make it the best year yet.”
